Questions Anyone with Rose Rollins

From favorite superpower to favorite imaginary super band, it’s not 20 Questions but another episode of Questions Anyone. In this episode, Rose Rollins and Alicia Leigh Willis have a good laugh over Rose’s high school hobbies, which L Word character she’d want to play besides Tasha...and much, much, more. Enjoy!

Rose

Still amazes me, with how down to earth she seems, despite the fact that she's obviously gorgeous and talented, she just seems like such a genuine and lovely person, would love to meet her one day.

Romantic Rose

Thanks for the Q&A video. Rose is adorable, and a true romantic. I want to see the Tasha and Alice relationship survive in Season 6. Alice and Tasha evolved through attraction, courtship, nurturing, and true love. They began with their mutual attraction where they were flirtatious, and Alice finds Tasha loves girly girls in dresses and high heels. Tasha brings flowers to Alice on their first date, takes her on motorcyle and helicopter rides. In their first love scene Tasha picks Alice up and carries her to the bedroom and sex continues the morning after. Hot! I too want to see Tasha back in uniform (not Cal-Mart)and riding Alice around on the back of her Harley. I think shy, mousy Clea and her scooter deflates Alice fiery personality.
I love that Alice and Tasha stand their ground, yet come together lovingly. I love Tasha's laugh, but her orgasmic squeal in "Liquid Heat" was too funny. I expected more macho. She's beautiful, but definitely not girly. I love how feminine Alice is with her.

Every season the L Word has been riddled with broken relationships. Enough, already. I saw hope for Tasha when Alice didn't kiss Clea, yet know the writers have been totally limited in depicting lesbian love success storylines. Tasha and Alice had a magnificent journey with "Don't Ask Don't Tell" and Tasha proclaimed her love for Alice. I can only hope they survive.

How cute was it....

When she did the whole "block head" comment, haha I burst out laughing each time, bc thats the sense of humor me and my best friend had in high school, and college.....and still do, yeah, some things never change, lol

Love ya Rose!

Rose in uniform

When will we get a chance to see Rose in her police uniform?

I'm hoping for a motorcycle cop. You know the bike, knee high black boots, mirrored sunglasses...
Come on...one photo.

Rose is awesome!

She did pick great musical acts, I LOVE BEN HARPER AND DAMIEN RICE.

And another L word cast to recognize to amazing acting of one Mia Kirshner.

I hope they let Alice and Tasha end the series together, but we will have to wait and see.

Thanks Gigi for posting..

fame...

makes one want to be invisible.

everyone wants to be famous, until they're inside the fish bowl.

Funny...

I remember sitting around with all my little friends in grade school talking about what each of us wanted to be when we grew up...99% of them said "famous." I was the 1% who said I didn't want to be and I remember that they all looked at me as though I was nuts! Never did, never have, never will want it...

You're a kindred spirit

You're a kindred spirit Foxy. As a child I never dreamed of being famous, but then I'm not an entertainer. When I was an undergrad at Kent I worked in the university library and would often see a former television soap opera actor come in to do research. He left the acting business to get his PHD and teach theater. He said that he no longer wanted to be a part of the pretentiousness, the superficiality and arrogance of the entertainment industry. He liked the art of acting though and the joy and enlightenment it brings to people so he made the choice to leave Hollywood and teach instead.

I hesitate to make a judgment without knowing all of the facts, but it does seem that some actors want admiration and recognition for working hard and doing well but they don't want the baggage that goes along with it. I've seen celebrities say that they thought they wanted fame, but once they have it they no longer want it. So....why are you still there then?

I've seen some of the pretentiousness that the actor-turned teacher talks about right here on OurChart. I'm here because of the people I've met and because I've learned a lot from the blogs, but I see so many young people here trying to communicate with some of the bloggers, hoping that OurChart is a direct connection with the actors of the L-word. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with that, but I do think that sometimes a reality check is in order.

True

"...the pretentiousness, the superficiality and arrogance of the entertainment industry." That's a pretty good summation of what exists behind the glamor.

Some people are very passionate about their 'craft' but at the end of the day, it's just like any other work. They want to be able to leave the 'office' and have their work-day over with. They find contentment in the idea that they have done a good 'job.'

On the other hand, there are others who buy into the whole idea of 'fame' and 'celebrity.' They want to be worshiped and adored UNTIL such point when they realize that being stalked and having their every waking moment recorded - or as Humble said living in a "fishbowl" no longer affords them any privacy.

My view of the OC, albeit it may be somewhat idealistic - is that it should be a place where women sharing common-ground can come together to connect and exchange ideas in a respectful atmosphere. I think it should be a social place where we (as equals) can all learn from each other...

Yes, It's Why I'm Here...

Thank you for your insightful comment! I agree. The community that I have experienced here at OC has been an awesome mix of diverse women sharing from the heart. I treasure the friendships I've made here and those yet to develop. :)

"women sharing common-ground can come together to connect and exchange ideas in a respectful atmosphere. I think it should be a social place where we (as equals) can all learn from each other..."

It's definitely why I'm here

It's definitely why I'm here too.

good instincts...

that's one of my life's missions, to show all those little kids out there that fame is a trap door.

cuz i was one of those little kids with a dream--and i've seen all too often what a nightmare it is.

That's an awesome

mission Humble! As an outsider (not one of their parents, teachers or playmates), you may have better luck with conveying the 'truth' behind the ideal. It's great to have a dream, but I think it is important that it is an 'educated' dream.

I totally agree with you and

I totally agree with you and Rose about Mia. She is amazing!! I didn't start watching until season 4, where she was getting into her bitch phase. But after watching all the seasons, she is amazing! Just like JB, she communicates with her eyes. I absolutely love her, and the character Jenny, hope she finds happiness in the end. She deserves it!!
